..HOT TEMPERATURES...DRY FUELS AND WINDY CONDITIONS WILL LEAD TO
ELEVATED FIRE CONCERNS OVER SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL COLORADO
TODAY AND TUESDAY...
.SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE GREAT BASIN AND
WESTERN COLORADO THIS WEEK. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL LIFT
THROUGH NORTHEAST UTAH EARLY TUESDAY.
WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS FAR WEST CENTRAL AND FAR SOUTHWEST
COLORADO THIS AFTERNOON...THEN BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD ON TUESDAY.
WELL ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES... UNSTABLE CONDITIONS...AND DRY
FUELS WILL ALL COMBINE WITH THE INCREASING WINDS TO CREATE AREAS
OF CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY AND TUESDAY.
HUMIDITY RECOVERY WILL BE POOR IN MANY AREAS TONIGHT...WITH LOCALIZED
WIND GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH CONTINUING FOR MUCH OF TONIGHT AT ELEVATIONS
ABOVE ABOUT 7000 FEET.
THESE CONDITIONS MAY CONTINUE LATER INTO THE WEEK AS HOT...DRY
