..GUSTY WINDS...LOW HUMIDITY...DRY FUELS...AND HIGH HAINES INDEX OF 6 WILL KEEP FIRE DANGER HIGH TODAY AND AGAIN ON FRIDAY...

.A LARGE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY TRACK ACROSS THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST...NORTHERN ROCKIES AND INTO CANADA THROUGH THE WEEKEND. VERY WARM TEMPERATURES AND LOW HUMIDITY WILL PERSIST AND CONTINUE TO AFFECT FUEL MOISTURE. POOR HUMIDITY RECOVERY IS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT AND GUSTY WINDS WILL MIX TO THE SURFACE AT TIMES. RED FLAG CONDITIONS WILL BE WIDESPREAD TODAY AND FRIDAY...AND PERHAPS INTO THE WEEKEND FOR SOME ZONES.

  FORECAST AREA.

* WINDS...SOUTH 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 TO 10 PERCENT.

* HAINES INDEX...6 HIGH.

* IMPACTS...RAPID FIRE GROWTH ON ANY WILDFIRES OR PRESCRIBED
  BURNS AND AGRICULTURAL BURNS IS POSSIBLE. OPEN BURNING IS NOT
  RECOMMENDED.
